<p>The Komodo dragon “is the largest living species of lizard, growing to an average length of 2 to 3 metres (6.6 to 9.8 ft) and weighing around 70 kilograms (150 lbs)” (<a style="color: #007acc; text-decoration: none;" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Komodo_dragon">Wikipedia</a>). <p>The elephant is the largest land mammal in the world, standing up to 4 metres (13 ft) at the shoulder and weighing as much as 12,000 kilograms (26,000 lb).</p>
<p>Elephants are herbivores, but they are capable of defending themselves with their feet, trunks, and tusks. An elephant’s tusks can reach over 3 m (10 ft) in length and weigh over 90 kg (200 lb).</p>

<p>Cougars–also known as mountain lions, pumas, catamounts, or panthers–stand about 60 to 76 cm (2.0 to 2.5 ft) tall at the shoulders, reach lengths of up to 2.4 m (9 ft) nose to tail, and, in rare cases, weigh as much as 118 kg (260 lbs). “A capable stalk-and-ambush predator, the cougar pursues a wide variety of prey.
