The giraffe and the rhino will face off in a large, open area, with a few trees and some patches of tall grass.

Giraffe

The sixteenth seed in the War of the Wilds.

The average male giraffe stands between 14 and 17 feet tall and weighs 1,200 kilograms (2,650 pounds). Giraffes are herbivores, primarily eating leaves and grass, but have strong hooves with which they can defend themselves.

Rhinoceros

An average rhinoceros, set to compete in the War of the Wilds.

The rhinoceros is a large, strong herbivore. The adult black or white rhino has no natural predators other than humans.

Rhinos have a large horn made of keratin (the same substance that hair and fingernails are made of) and a protective skin that can be up to 5 cm thick. A full-grown male White Rhinoceros can weigh over 3,000 kg (6,600 pounds), reach lengths of up to 4.2 m (13.9 feet) and stand 185 cm (73 inches) high at the shoulder.
