Ryan, who lives upstairs, is a pretty cool guy. He even rides a motorcycle. But he does a lot of weird things, like make applesauce. Who does that?

The spiders seem to have something out for me. There has been a web stretched across the doorway every morning for the past week. I walked through it a couple of times; they make those things darn near invisible!

But it’ll take more than some errant spider webs to get me worried. I’m still the master of this house.

Meanwhile, Tyler’s gaming obsession has progressed from character impersonations to full-on reconstructions. Having a Red Alert-style Tesla Coil in the backyard is pretty sweet, but a little impractical. After all, we live on a cliff. If anyone wanted to attack our house, they’d be more likely to come at us from the front.

But even if it isn’t that useful as an actual defensive structure, it does seem to make some pretty decent applesauce.
